VMRF (DU) is committed to aligning its investment decisions with sustainability goals and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The policy aims to identify and assess investments associated with fossil fuels, environmental damage, and social or governance risks.

It establishes a transparent framework for engagement, restricting investments, or divestment where appropriate. It also encourages responsible reinvestment in renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate action, and community development. These initiatives support SDGs 7, 12, 13, and 17.
