VMRF(DU) is committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) by promoting energy efficiency, encouraging the adoption of renewable energy, and fostering a culture of responsible energy consumption across its campuses. Our approach focuses on reducing energy wastage, improving energy performance, exploring clean energy solutions, and integrating sustainability into institutional operations, teaching, research, and community engagement.

Through energy conservation practices, the promotion of energy-efficient technologies, the responsible use of electricity, and initiatives to increase awareness of renewable energy, we strive to minimise our environmental footprint and support the transition towards cleaner energy systems. We also encourage students, faculty, and staff to participate in energy awareness programmes and sustainability initiatives that promote environmental responsibility.

By strengthening our commitment to energy conservation, clean energy innovation, and sustainable resource management, VMRF (DU) aims to contribute to a more energy-efficient, environmentally responsible, and sustainable future in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
