VMRF (DU) is committed to maintaining a healthy, safe, and smoke-free campus for students, faculty, staff, patients, and visitors. The policy prohibits smoking and tobacco use across University-controlled premises. It aims to prevent exposure to second-hand smoke, promote health awareness, and reduce tobacco-related litter.

The University will support tobacco cessation through awareness programmes, counselling, and appropriate referrals. The policy will be implemented in accordance with applicable laws and University regulations.
