VMRF (DU) is committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) by promoting the responsible use of water resources, sustainable water management practices, and access to safe water and sanitation. Our approach emphasises water conservation, efficient water utilisation, wastewater management, hygiene awareness, and the protection of water resources across our campuses and surrounding communities.

Through initiatives focused on rainwater harvesting, water-use efficiency, wastewater treatment and reuse, sanitation facilities, and environmental awareness, we strive to minimise water wastage and encourage sustainable practices. We also promote awareness among students, faculty, staff, and local communities about the importance of water conservation, proper sanitation, and hygiene.

By integrating sustainable water management into campus operations, research, education, and community engagement, VMRF (DU) aims to contribute to a cleaner, healthier, and more water-secure future in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
