Reduced Inequalities
Reduce inequality within and among countries
Our Approach
VMRF(DU) is committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by fostering an inclusive, equitable, and supportive educational environment where every individual has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. Our approach focuses on promoting equal access to education, reducing barriers to participation, respecting diversity, and ensuring dignity and fairness for students, faculty, staff, and the wider community.
Through inclusive educational practices, student support services, scholarships and financial assistance where applicable, accessibility initiatives, awareness programmes, and community engagement, we strive to create opportunities for individuals from diverse social and economic backgrounds. We encourage a culture of mutual respect, non-discrimination, and social responsibility while supporting the participation and empowerment of disadvantaged and underrepresented groups.
By integrating equity, inclusion, accessibility, and social justice into our academic, administrative, and outreach activities, VMRF (DU) aims to contribute to a more inclusive society in which everyone can access opportunities and participate meaningfully in social and economic development, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
